Step By Step Tax and Financial Planning is a fee-only financial planning firm in the metro-Tulsa, OK area. What makes us different from many financial firms is that we offer professional, objective tax and financial planning services on a one-to-one personal level. We are an independent firm whose complete focus is on the client.
We work with a small number of individuals in order to best serve each one, remaining focused on the needs of our clients. The only compensation we receive is directly from our clients. We do not receive commissions, referral fees or third-part incentives.
Kevin Jacobs, the founder of Step By Step, has been a recognized CFP® practitioner since 2008 and has been in the financial services industry since 2005. As an Enrolled Agent (EA), Kevin is also licensed to practice before the IRS. Before 2005, he served as a youth director in Memphis, TN. Kevin and his wife, Donella, have six children (5 boys and 1 girl). They are active at their church and Kevin is also very involved in the community of Broken Arrow.
Step By Step Tax and Financial Planning services the individual financial needs of its clients, particularly pre-retired married couples. We work best with people who are serious about their financial future and who realize the value of sound, professional and objective advice.
We use a systematic process to evaluate the client’s entire financial life over the course of several months. We do very little “drive-thru” tax preparation or financial advice work because we have found that our clients are best served by evaluating and working on their entire “financial portfolio.”
